The terms we work under.
These terms govern the use of this website and the general basis of our services. Specific projects are governed by the signed proposal and agreement for that work, which takes precedence over anything here.
1. Using this website
This site is provided for information about Stelaah Technologies and our services. You agree to use it lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it. Content, branding and imagery are owned by Stelaah or our licensors and may not be reused without permission.
2. Enquiries and consultations
Requesting a consultation does not create a contract. Prices, scopes and timelines shown or discussed are indicative until confirmed in a written proposal signed by both parties.
3. Proposals and agreements
Each project is delivered under its own proposal and agreement, which sets out scope, deliverables, pricing, payment schedule, timelines and warranties. Where those documents differ from these terms, the signed agreement governs.
4. Products, installation and ownership
Products are supplied and installed as part of a designed system. On full payment, the installed hardware and the software licensed to run it are owned or licensed to you as set out in your agreement. Manufacturer warranties are passed through where applicable, alongside our own workmanship terms.
5. Support & service agreements
Monitoring, maintenance and support are provided under a separate service agreement. Support covers care and updates for your system; it never grants Stelaah ownership of, or unrestricted access to, your property or its data.
6. Acceptable use of systems
You are responsible for using installed systems lawfully, including any surveillance, recording and access-control obligations that apply to your property and jurisdiction.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stelaah is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited as set out in your project agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Questions about them can be sent through the contact page.
